Viaggi interni consentiti a stranieri per raggiungere l'Aeroporto di Auckland

Il Governo neozelandese ha deciso di rivedere la regolamentazione degli spostamenti interni per i cittadini stranieri che devono fare rientro nel proprio paese e che hanno un volo da Auckland. Voli domestici per Auckland sono disponibili da Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin e Nelson. Si possono anche usare mezzi privati e pubblici.

Exemption for foreign nationals connecting to international flightsForeign nationals in New Zealand can now drive, or take domestic flights, in order to connect with commercial, or chartered, international flights to their home country.
Domestic flights will be available from Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Nelson.
The Cook Strait ferries will not be available for foreign nationals, and those needing to move between islands should take flights. 
There are several criteria that foreign nationals must meet in order to drive to an international airport or take a domestic flight within New Zealand while we are under Alert Level 4:

• You must hold a ticket for an international flight departing in the next 24 hours
• You must have the right to transit through all countries on your itinerary
• You must be able to drive in private transport to the domestic airport, or complete a public transport, taxi or uber ride within two hours
• You must depart from your current self-isolating location to the airport no more than 24 hours before your international departure
• You must travel by the most direct route possible.

And you must meet the following public health criteria, and will be questioned before travelling:

1. Are not diagnosed with COVID-19 (or have been declared as recovered by a medical doctor)
2. Do not have symptoms consistent with COVID-19
3. Are not awaiting results for COVID19 testing
4. Are not a close contact of a suspected/probable/confirmed case of COVID-19, and,
5. Have not travelled internationally within the last 14 days.

If you meet these criteria you can make a domestic booking through the Air NZ website, or drive to meet your international flight.
Any foreign national who does not meet those criteria should continue to shelter in place in their current location. If you fail to meet these criteria you will not be able to take your international flight and will have to go into quarantine.
Foreign nationals who require more information or support should contact their country’s embassy or consulate. Any chartered flights will be organised and ticketed through foreign missions.

Acceptable transport optionsIn order to travel to an international airport you can use the following transport options:

• Self-drive (including a rental car)
• Be driven by a member of your current household group
• Use a taxi or ride-sharing service
• Take a chartered vehicle service
• Use public transport.

You must travel via the most direct route, and comply with physical distancing requirements throughout your journey.
